TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Finding halal food in
Russia seems not to be a problem. Kebab is considered to be the safest option
for Moslems visiting the country for the World Cup 2018 event.
"Many vendors sold kebab here, they
also display the halal logo so it is safe for Moslems," said Mohd Izza
Omar from, young football coach from Brunei on Wednesday, June 13, 2018.
Izza came to Moscow with his young players
to compete in the Gazprom Football for Friendship, a mini-tournament ahead of
the World Cup for youngsters from 211 countries held as an opening for the
World Cup event.
Izza said that it is not hard to find halal
food in Moscow. Many food vendors can be found in crowd centers. "They put
on the halal logo not using Russian language, so we immediately
understand," Izza said.
